Whirling Dervishes (Sema) Ceremony |
Sema was formed with the inspiration of Mevlana as a part of the beliefs of Turkish history and still continues today.
The Semâ ritual, which takes place in the Seljuk Caravanserai, is a ritual that all our guests visiting Cappadocia should see.
Would you like to experience the spiritual and mystical pleasure by watching the Mevlevi Sema ritual, which is a historical and cultural heritage, in one of its most beautiful places?
Sema ceremonies are held every day.
After the one (1) hour ceremony, sherbet is served.
It is forbidden to take photos (with or without flash), clap, make noise, whistle during the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, an additional time will be given for the photograph.
